DESCRIPTION

We use the versatile Fotona fractional laser skin resurfacing for clients concerned about wrinkles, fine lines, acne scars, and irregular skin texture—but don’t want the downtime associated with traditional resurfacing. The laser’s flexibility enables us to fine-tune skin resurfacing treatments based on your specific skin condition, ranging from a light peel to deep collagen remodelling. The use of both the Er:YAG laser and the Nd:YAG laser is called Twinlight® Fractional Rejuvenation. This laser skin resurfacing method targets imperfections in the skin while reducing the impact on the surrounding healthy tissue.

By customizing your skin resurfacing treatments, we can carefully control the extent of the procedure. Combining the ablative and non-ablative laser treatments creates a comprehensive anti-aging procedure. The benefits of TwinLight fractional rejuvenation include:

HOW IT WORKS

The Fotona fractional laser skin resurfacing is a 3 step treatment. Firstly, the Nd:YAG beam conditions the skin with deep dermal heating. Secondly, the Er:YAG beam gently removes the old skin with precise micro-ablated channels and then finally, the skin is ablated with a light peeling beam that removes superficial imperfections. This form of skin resurfacing treatments produce younger looking skin.

EXPECTED RESULTS

You will have approximately 48 hours of redness that resembles a sunburn right after the  fractional laser skin resurfacing procedure. After 36 hours the redness will start to subside and the abnormal cells will gradually peel and slough off. A light exfoliation can be done on day 7 to smooth off the peeling skin.

Avoid sun exposure and make up application for 48 hours after skin resurfacing treatments. You will be advised on aftercare and suitable products to use on your skin post treatment at your consultation, SPF 50 must be applied over all areas treated for 2 weeks after the laser skin resurfacing procedure.

We advise that you should avoid any makeup and avoid exercise for 24 hours after skin resurfacing treatments.

    I am halfway through completing my sessions and I have seen great results already. Maryem is so accommodating to my busy schedule, she has later appointments (and that's important to me as a mom). She provided me with a great set of information before beginning and did her testing before my first session. She does her treatments with so much care, and listens to her clients. It's a private space and we also have great conversation on top of it all! I will update my review once treatment is complete, but so far my hair removal time has been reduced drastically since I do not have to do it as much!
