Fotona’s  ClearSteps™ Onychomycosis (fungal toe nail) Treatment is a revolutionary laser treatment for toenail fungus.

Traditional treatments for fungal toenail infections can involve months of topical treatments and filing, often with little benefit. This patented laser fungal nail treatment is an easy and effective way of managing this tricky problem.

At the Alchemist Laser Clinic we also have The GentleMax Pro plus system, which is also an FDA approved device for laser treatment for toenail fungus— without the pain or downtime of surgery. The laser device emits pulses of energy that produce heat – this heat destroys microbes that are infecting tissue during the toenail fungus laser treatment.

HOW IT WORKS

This laser fungal nail treatment is a simple procedure that uses toenail fungus laser to evenly heat throughout the depth of the affected nail and skin tissue. This weakens and kills parasitic fungi which have infected the patient’s nails.

EXPECTED RESULTS

Patients will notice the new nail as it grows through will be clear of the fungal infection that caused the previous thickening and discolouration of the nail. A fully clear nail using the toenail fungus laser is dependent on how fast your nails grow but an average cycle is around 9-10 months.

The ClearSteps™ treatment is usually performed four times, at one-week intervals. All of the nails are treated during every  laser treatment for toenail fungus as well as the skin around the nail bed. This effectively eradicates the fungal infection through toenail fungus laser treatment.

    I am halfway through completing my sessions and I have seen great results already. Maryem is so accommodating to my busy schedule, she has later appointments (and that's important to me as a mom). She provided me with a great set of information before beginning and did her testing before my first session. She does her treatments with so much care, and listens to her clients. It's a private space and we also have great conversation on top of it all! I will update my review once treatment is complete, but so far my hair removal time has been reduced drastically since I do not have to do it as much!
